A lovely old building with a great deal of charm - widning stairs with various nooks and crannies. It was cold when we arrived, but our room was warm, clean and well presented with a generously sized bathroom. The owners and staff are incredibly helpful, approachable, and friendly in all they do. Perfectly central, on the main street, where you can usually park for free. Breakfast was lovely, well sized with fresh ingredients served in a lovely breakfast room. We will return!
Stayed here for a couple of nights. A great atmosphere , Lovely hosts, Breakfast spot on. Rooms very clean& tidy Hotel in a great place on the high street. All in All a great stay.
Stayed here for one night, Host was very friendly and attentive. Room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back next time we visit Jedburgh.
We were travelling through, and my mum had booked ahead via booking com. Very friendly owner, great breakfast. Nice pub. Rooms very nice. It's an old building that Mary Queen of scits stayed in. It can't be changed in structure, so some floors are not straight and you do have to climb lots of stairs, so not good if you have disabilities
We stayed in a deluxe double that was clean, well decorated but a little tired. Breakfast was of very good quality and available between 8.30 and 9.30. Theres no lunch or evening meals available unfortunately. There is a bar but not much on tap to suit us craft beer drinkers. I'd stay again, great hospitality.
Hotel was nice clean staff was friendly bed a wee bit soft for me but can't fault the hotel in any way.
This was a great place to stop over after our first leg of St Cuthbert's Way (just a short bus journey from Ancrum). The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, the rooms were nice and we had a great cooked breakfast in the morning.
Would agree with other reviewers. Staff were friendly, location wasngrest, the price was fair, and breakfast was fine. Room (and bed) felt very small. Decor seemed rather rundown but the bathroom looked modern so they are maybe revamping in stages. Overall a good option for a short stay.
